Amari Spice Foods has manufactured and sold a broad range of spices, centered on curry and dried chili pepper, for over 80 years since the company’s founding in 1932. Our history is the very history of spice development in Japan. We established C&A, a leading Japanese brand, based on our dedication to the finest quality in which no compromises are made. Our Clean Spice business is positioned as the core of our future-oriented corporate strategy. We built the Shiga No. 2 and No. 3 Factories as central bases for producing low-bacterial-count spices of the highest level. With these as our front factories, our manufacturing structure spans Shizuoka, Shiga, and Kyoto. Based on this, we will work to offer new Clean Spices unique to C&S—representing our high level of safety, peace of mind, and quality—and make multi-faceted efforts to expand our sales channels in all fields. Our spices with groundbreakingly low bacterial counts not only prevent spoilage and food poisoning caused by microorganisms, but also enable longer best-before periods. We are confident that this helps reduce food waste—a current social issue—and contributes greatly to a century of harmonious coexistence.
